Activities: Classes for children aged 6-13
Children have two great characteristica that promote their relationship with the horse: they are still bound to their natural side and they love to play, this is why from the very beginning they spontaneously build the right bond with the horse and the horse can help them in their social, psychological, emotional and movement growth.
Who it adresses and when it is held
Natural horsemanship classes for children aged 6 to 13, held throughout the year from Monday to Sunday.
What it consists of
he children's courses are based on the concepts that distinguish all our activities, but are developed in an age appropriate method, working with ponies of different heights. Lessons are held in small groups and last an hour and a half each, divided in three phases:
- Care of the horse: learning to fetch the pony from the paddock, cleaning it, putting on the saddle and taking it off
- Working from the ground: knowing and using herd language and equipment
- Working on the saddle: learning horseriding technique,riding with the three gaits, refining motion techniques.
Our choice is to work with children, fostering collaboration, rather than competitiveness, within the group. Periodically we organize "special days" of games, parties and performances.
Duration and cost
It is possible to book individual lessons or packages of 4 to 8 lessons(6 or 12 hours) in a small group.
